Mark - Thanks. I checked into Squarespace and it looks good. I still like hosting my own stuff for some reason. I started out with Typepad which was hosted and good, but I felt somewhat restricted.

I encountered similar troubles a while back, and after much research, decided to move my blog to Squarespace. They were able to import my old Wordpress archives, and now I don't have to worry about the upkeep of running my own server and blog engine. Their spam filtering is pretty good, too, though the occasional spam comment does make it's way through the defenses. Overall, though, I've been very happy with it.

gitx is, as you say, awesome.

Even more awesome are some of the more recent branches at github. Pieter seems to have slowed down a bit on development in the last few months but some folks have really been extending it in very nice ways.

Or gitnub, cause it integrates with github if you want and it's a nice mac os x style interface like gitx.

Using GTM trunk as of October 2009, you also need to add GTMObjCRuntime.h and GTMObjCRuntime.m to your project.

You should use GitX. You can see the files that have changed, easily navigate between files to see each diff, easily discard changes you don't want, construct your commit message and even amend the previous commit. It's an awesome tool:
