EclipseCon itself is EPLed

I’m in the End-to-End RCP Solutions session with David Orme and one thing that sticks out at me is that the slides are released under the EPL (Eclipse Public License.)

There’s an unprecedented (in my experience) amount of content that is available on the EclipseCon site and most of it was available before the conference even started.

I’m comparing this to No Fluff Just Stuff, which does a good job of aggregating the presentations and giving them to you at the start of the conference, but I think you are not allowed to redistribute the slides. I’m also comparing it to JavaOne, where you have to buy a yearly pass to get access to a lot of the presentations.
